Jazz Band Class

The Jazz Ensemble class is open to students by placement audition. All interested members are accepted into the class to learn the class content. A standard instrumentation jazz band or combos are chosen to form the ensemble(s) from class members.. Students must be concurrently enrolled in a concert band class or other Performing Arts Academy class.

The Jazz band and/or combos perform a wide variety of music in many styles. The group is dedicated to ensemble performance skills and individual improvisational skills. The group performs at local events and concerts.
